In relatively recent years, many well-known celebrity names have been attached to golf courses, Jack Nicklaus being one of the most famous. This golf course, located overlooking the Sea of Cortes on the Cabo coastline is considered to be one of Nicklaus’s finest. It is easy to see why this course has been named on several occasions as one of the world’s best 100. At 7075 yards long, it has comprehensive views of the desert, mountains, and sea. Palmilla Golf Course
Cabo’s second best golf course, also designed by the well-known Jack Nicklaus, is the second of the three courses in the area to be ranked as one of the top 100 courses in the world. Palmilla Golf Course has 3 completely different 9 hole courses to choose from. They are the Arroyo Course, the Ocean Course and the Mountain Course. The Ocean Course, being the most astonishing of the three courses has been so named because of it offers tremendous views of the Sea of Cortez. At all courses, there are five sets of tee boxes all of which cater to the needs of any golf handicap.

Set lavishly in over 300 acres of stunning scenery, this 18-hole course designed by Tom Fazio is a great place for golfing in Cabo San Lucas. The course is positioned amongst ancient cacti and lush palm trees and carves itself through deep arroyos to rest atop a cool plateau. Cabo Real Golf Course

This course has a challenging start out through the desert and with its luxuriant fairways, swaying palm trees, dramatic ocean views and massive cactus plants; you will fall in love instantly with the Cabo Real Golf Course. The 7,037 yard long course was designed by Robert Trent Jones II. It has an easier back nine holes, which enjoy impressive ocean views. It is possible that when playing this course in the whale season, you may be able to catch sight of breaching whales while you play.
